Wesley & Madison's intimate wedding ceremony took place on a beautiful summer day in a glass chapel tucked away in the woods. Inspired by elegant simplicity, the couple decided on a small wedding party and a shorter guest list for their celebration, allowing for a day to unfold naturally and smoothly. Madison chose a neutral colour palette of ivory, taupe, and blush to set the tone for the stationery, florals, and attire, with a delicate invitation suite designed by Sugared Fig Paperie and bridesmaid dresses by Mori Lee.
An abundance of greenery with gold and brass accents graced the reception tables and gave the day an elegant vintage feel. Guests feasted on a charcuterie-inspired menu for the evening meal and an eclectic arrangement of wedding cakes were served for dessert. After dancing the night away with their closest family and friends, the couple set off for their honeymoon on the Mediterranean coast in Peniscola, Spain.
It was an honour to document Madison & Wesley's wedding day. What I loved the most about their wedding was the intentionality and love they put into the details and the extra time they dedicated to spending with guests. This is what makes documentary photography so special - relationships are at the heart of the wedding day, and the details are formed around those, instead of the other way round.
